Both security applications offer excellent security against malware with minimal impact on performance of PCs. However, Kaspersky wins the overall competition due to its easy and intuitive user interface as well as additional features like password management and file shredder.

Its open-frame interface uses soft colors and puts the most important functions front and center. The top of the screen displays the current state of the device, while the rest are displayed as large blocks that can be tapped for more information or to perform specific tasks. In the real-world tests conducted by AV-Comparatives Kaspersky received perfect scores for its protection abilities. This is because it was able to detect all 752 sample and had no false-positives. The program also did a great job in analyzing files and removing malware after they were removed from the device. In addition, it has little impact on performance and slowdowns.

Kaspersky also has a very comprehensive knowledgebase and community forums where customers can ask questions and receive help. The company does not provide live chat or phone support, which is a disadvantage for some. It does, however, offer a ticketed service to customers who need additional assistance.
