Silent Mode is a great new feature in Avast which can improve your gaming experience by removing annoying notifications and alerts. This article will explain how to activate silent mode in Avast and make the most out of it while gaming.

Avast provides more than antivirus protection. Avast has become a popular choice for gamers. However, some games could slow down your PC or interrupt gameplay. To combat these issues, Avast has added a new feature known as “Silent Gaming Mode.” This feature turns off all notifications and alerts when you play a game. This makes it easier to concentrate on the game and not worry about your PC’s performance.

It is important to keep in mind that while this mode is enabled All antivirus protection features are active. This includes a threat detection scan, a virus scanner, and advanced features. If you are worried about how any of these features are affecting your PC’s performance, you can disable them prior to using the Silent Gaming Mode.

The first thing you’ll need to do is make sure that your computer meets the system requirements to run Avast’s silent mode. This means that you’ll require at minimum a Pentium III processor, 20GB of free space and at least 512 MB of RAM.

Click on the “Notifications tab” in the Avast settings once you have satisfied the minimum system requirements. You’ll need to check the box at the top of the menu marked “Don’t display any pop-ups, alerts or messages (Silent gaming mode)” to enable this mode.
